Très populaire comme halte en bordure du fleuve pour les touristes de passage dans la région et comme lieu de promenade et de pique-nique pour les citoyens de la municipalité, le parc se compose principalement d'une promenade en bois sur l'ancien quai fédéral à laquelle se rattache un espace vert voué à la détente et à l'interprétation des lieux. Un bateau stylisé, très populaire auprès des enfants, est au centre d'un aire de jeux et sert à la fois comme élément signal au cœur même de l'espace.

Very popular as a stop along the river for tourists visiting the region as a place to walk and picnic for citizens, the park mainly consists of a boardwalk on the former federal wharf with a green space dedicated to relaxation and interpretation of the site. A stylized, very popular with kids boat is at the center of a playground.
