I recovered this U.S. Department of the Interior BLM cadastral survey disk from 2011 in good condition. This brass disk is monumented flush with the surface of a driveway near a concrete curb at Hyatt Lake Resort and near the easternmost cabin at the resort. The disk contains the designation stamping of 'S 16 AP 4 LOT 1' and the year '2011'. AP stands for 'aliquot part', the standard subdivisions of a section, such as a half section (1/2), quarter section (1/4), or quarter-quarter section (1/8). This cadastral disk is designating a property boundary between BLM land and leased land to Hyatt Lake Resort. There are most likely other BLM disks like this one located at various points around the resort property.

This cadastral disk is not in the NGS database. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this mark.
