The classic water ice franchise of the East Coast has moved west. Usually, they are only open from Abril to September, but this one is open year round due to the weather. This Rita's is located on the upper level of Kaleidoscope, near the movie theater. The owners of this establishment were originally from Maryland, where Rita's is quite popular. This is their main store and distribution center as well for other stores across southern Orange County. They have a small store in Dana Point, but this is where they make the ice as they have the equipment and room to make it in. There is seating inside and outside the store.
