The memorial consists of a large granite cross affixed to the side of the Bismarck Tower. An inscription on the arm of the cross reads: GEGEN ALEE KRIEGE [English translation: AGAINST ALL WARS].

A plaque embedded on a rock near the base of the memorial cross reads:

It is different from most other Bismarck towers because it does not have an all-stone design. Rather it has a base of bricks with a lattice tower on top. There's a beautiful view at this location.
