At the park called 'Stadtpark' in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg exists an old fountain called 'Mutter-und-Kind-Brunnen' (Mother and Child Fountain).

At the park called 'Stadtpark' in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg exists an old fountain called 'Mutter-und-Kind-Brunnen' (Mother and Child Fountain).

The fountain was built in 1935 by plans of the artist Vinzenz Schapfl.
During World War II the bronze sculpture of the fountain has been destroyed. In 1957 the artist created a new sculpture for the fountain.

The fountain is in use from May to September.
