Warner's major claim to fame is that it retains the longest/largest row of grain elevators in Alberta, with six still standing. It's also on the CPR main line running north-south, making it a good train spotting location.
Warner's fire hall is straight south of that row of elevators on Range Road 172, which marks the eastern edge of the village. The department is manned by a fire chief and a deputy chief, as well as an unknown number of volunteers. That we know of, they have at least one pumper, a 2002 GMC TopKick/Superior Pumper. They undoubtedly have more equipment hidden behind the three overhead doors of the rather long and relatively new metal clad fire hall.
