The Soldiers' Monument is located on the Town Green at the intersection of US Rt. 44 and SR 272 in the center of Norfolk, CT.

A 24' high granite obelisk stands in the middle of the Norfolk Town Green. The obelisk was supplied by William A. Burdick and erected in 1868.

The monument honors area residents who died during the Civil War. The obelisk is inscribed on all four sides. The west face contains the dedication and a list of seven names and dates of death:
