A simple 3' high, sloping, granite monument with a bronze plaque honors the citizens of Winchendon that liberated Kuwait during the Persian Gulf War. The monument is located in the center of a small park and is flanked by a pair of flag posts with a third, larger, flag post to the rear of the monument.
The bronze plaque contains an American flag on the upper left and upper right and is inscribed:
