The church St. Peter und Paul was built in 1738 and replaced an older church dating back to the 10th or 11th century. In 1898 the Roman Catholic church became Christan Catholic.
The churchyard cemetery is located south of the church building. It currently has about 120 graves and a lot of green space.
As seen in many local churchyard cemeteries, graves of former priests are closer to the church wall than the other graves, and they are usually the only ones that have more than names and dates inscribed.
This headstone has: "Hans Rudolf Burkard-Disler, alt Pfarrer (retired priest) 1881-1969"
