Die Bahnlinie Hungen - Laubach wurde bereits 1959 stillgelegt.
Eröffnet wurde sie am 01.06.1890, der Bahnhof war damals Endstation.
1903 wurde die Strecke bis Mücke verlängert, die Gleise wurden vom Bahnhofsvorplatz auf die Rückseite des Bahnhofes verlegt.
Heute sind alle Gleise zurückgebaut, aber die Trassenführung ist noch zu erkennen.
Das Bahnhofsschild ist leider schon stark verblasst, aber noch zu erkennen.
