The ferry generally runs in a triangular route, going from Chemainus -> Thetis -> Penelakut -> Chemainus, or the reverse. Since March 31, 2007, the route has been served by the MV Kuper, which can carry 32 cars and 269 passengers. As of April 1, 2014, the fare is $10.80 for a passenger and $25.45 for a car.
