This monument is dedicated to 15th & 37th Tennessee Infantry Regiment in recognition of their service during the
Battle of Chickamauga, fought September 19–20, 1863. This is the only marker to the 15th & 37th Tennessee Infantry on the battlefield. It marks their location at 11:30 am on Sept. 20, 1863.

Short Physical Description
1'6" wide x 1' deep x 3' high, the marker is a rectangular block of smooth-faced Tennesse gray marble inscribed on the front. Marks the unit's position on September 20, 1863, at 11:30 a.m.
