The sign is barely readable & I could only make out the words General Store followed by an ampersand.
My research found an article about Trunkey Creek which is part of the Cubitt Connection. The following paragraph regarding this general store is from the website:
This brick building was constructed by Mr. Casey in 1879 using reject bricks from the Police Station. One of the most notable store owners was Fred Davies who ran it from 1921 until 1984. The store last traded in 1992.

Also in the backyard is a tin shed adorned by old style advertising for Mother's Choice & Kinkara. Mother's Choice was a flour, Kinkara a brand of tea. Both were registered products of Love & Son & were first sold in 1897. Kinkara Tea is still sold today but the flour is no longer available.
