Trunkey Creek is a village on the crossroads of Blayney, Bathurst & Crookwell. Originally it was established as a gold mining centre & there is still one mine active in the area. It offers the traveller a pub, a church, a free undercover BBQ, a camping ground & this park.
The park has a slippery-dip, two swings, a zebdee & a picnic table. There is a war memorial to one side. On the day I visited a lamb had found greener grass on this side so visitors would have an extra attraction.
I closed the gate so it may still be there.
