The CPR built the Don Station in 1896. It was originally located on the bank of the Don river, near Queen Street. In 1969 it was moved to a local park and boarded up. It languished for many years until obtained by the Toronto Railway Historical Association and moved to Roundhouse Park in downtown Toronto.
The station has been refurbished, and now serves as a ticket counter and station terminus for the Park's miniature railroad, thus fulfilling its original purpose.
A vintage TH&B caboose is on a siding next to the station, further adding to its railroading history.
