Horní (Rynárecká) brána - Pelhrimov, Czech Republic - Gothic Architecture on Waymarking.com

The three-level Rynárec (Upper) Gate was built in the 16th century. The access to the gate was well-developed and features complex facilities. The gate is 17 metres tall and has a tent roof with a tower in which a Gothic bell hangs. The wooden balcony is carried by stone beams. The clock was installed on the gate tower at the end of the 17th century.

Horní (Rynárecká) brána
Podobne jako Dolní byla i Horní brána postavena v 16. století. Mívala predbraní, tvorené menší branou, k níž priléhala další brána, zvaná lidove Kolíbka ( po požáru mesta roku 1561 znovu vystavena v roce 1584). Kolíbka byla ješte v 18. století opatrena padacím Mustkem. Hodiny byly na bránu instalovány již koncem 17. století. Ciferník smerem z námestí zdobí dve plechové postavy kozlu, které pri bití hodin trkají.
