On the corner of Main Street and Third Avenue is where one will find the Anaconda Elks Lodge, cater corner from Kennedy Commons, the block-sized downtown park.

The Anaconda Elks built their first lodge building in 1914 at 217 Main Street and met there until 1964. At that time they built this building next to the 1914 lodge, which was taken over by the Knights of Columbus. The new building is substantially larger than the old, three stories in height. It doesn't appear that the Elks lease out any of the space in the building for commercial use.
No longer there, the 1914 lodge has since either been burned or torn down. It was a contributing property in the Butte Anaconda Historic District.
