The best information I can run down is the bowling alley closed sometimes after 1995, and the Elks moved into the building sometime before 2002.

The Elks Remodeled the building, but the floor of the main hall is still the bowling alley floor. Where the ball returns and gutters were, they filled in with other hardwoods planks from the alley itself. So all the land arrows and foul lines are still on the floor.

In the 40's and 50's this was US 40 and the lounge was hopping. The motels in town were about 4 blocks west in those days, and it pulled them in. It still was an active and fun place in 1995 when I moved here.
