What wonderment of this young girl, Amanda, pointing in excitement; Look! Up There. What is it that has Amanda so amazed; is it that bald eagle soaring above, or a homemade kite. Whatever it is one cannot help but look up to catch a glimpse of what is there.
Amanda, a 10 year old girl at the time, posed for her mother, talented artist Besty Eicker to create this great sculpture.
There are other sculptures in this park, by talented artist Eric Thorsen. His primary works include both bronze and wood carvings. His galley is close by, and he welcomes visitors to his studio.
