The Armory Block was built in 1895 and was the original armory for the National Guard.

The building was built by A.B. Daniels, a leading figure in industrial Adams and descendent of one of the first settlers in the area. In the past the building housed the post office and was used as a library. The space todays is used for retail and apartments.
