This cemetery adjoins the property of the beautifully-maintained, former one-room Leann School. It is likely that the school building was also used as a union church, since it adjoins the cemetery. There is a music jam at the school on every-other-Friday night during most of the year.

According to FindAGrave, although there were some graves without dates, the earliest recorded grave was from 1867.
