anton hofmann, geboren am 20. Oktober 1900 in Wien, war katholisch, ledig und von Beruf Musiker. Er arbeitete seit März 1937 in Salzburg und wohnte bei einem Berufskollegen im Haus Linzer Gasse 52.
anton hofmann, der seit 6. Mai 1940 Patient der Landesheilanstalt Salzburg war, wurde am 21. Mai 1941 nach Hartheim deportiert und dort ermordet. Der Tod des 40-jährigen Mannes ist wie bei allen Opfern der nationalsozialistischen Geheimaktion »T4«1 in der Polizeimeldekartei der Stadt Salzburg nicht vermerkt, wohl aber die gerichtliche Entmündigung des Patienten am 5. Juni 1941, folglich einige Tage nach seinem gewaltsamen Tod in Hartheim.
