This sculpture by talented artist Brad Allen consists of a set of three mounted skis. Each is of a diffents color: Red, blue and orange. Brad Allen uses recycled metal and turns into art. Brad Allen live in the Cowichan Valley and has created his "Meddle Art" for twenty years.
“Allen's creations are borne of imagination, recycled iron and the pleasures of expression. The two and three dimensional sculptures represent Allen's passion for creativity. His work is considered to be joyful, nurturing and thought-provoking.

Using recycled iron as his medium, each piece having it's own story to tell, Brad explores diverse textures and colors. He uses his inspiration and inherent artistic ability to create wild, mystical magic from metal. "I like to create forms and figures in various interactive situations. I want them understood, then I add a surreal or abstract flavor to them. Different emotions are portrayed in the pieces such as love, passion and joy". There is a natural energy in each work that seems to draw one in.”
