This is a new location for the West Shore Community Library. The day we were there, in mid March, there were painters working and the bookshelves were not installed.

The West Shore Community Library has served the residents of Somers, Lakeside, Rollins and Dayton for over 17 years. In that time a dedicated group of Volunteers and an all-volunteer Board of Directors have grown the Library from its original 1996 one-room facility into today's 2,400 square foot facility that provides a wide range of services to thousands of patrons.
