The cutout is located outside near the sidewalk on the east side of Main Street near the Michigan Historical Marker. This cutout is of the Pied Piper and three small children. The Pied Piper of Hamelin is the subject of a legend concerning the departure of a great number of children from the town of Hamelin, Germany, in the Middle Ages.
