U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark DN0771 - Decatur, TX - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

North Holman Street exists more in theory than as a street here, as verified by a satellite view or an actual trip to the site. This is basically an alley, so be respectful of others who are conducting business here. The benchmark is atop one of the concrete feet of an old water tower that once stood here, and that foot is the one closest (south) to West Walnut Street. The feet are easy to find, and so is the benchmark. Given the removal of the water tower, though, this benchmark may not be long for the world.
