The major battle of the Austro-Prussian war - Battle of Königgrätz (visit link) - was preceded by several other military clashes and minor skirmishes and battles. These skirmishes had their own victims and these victims have own a monuments.

This is the memorial of the victims of The Battle of Nachod [CZ: Náchod] (visit link) . It was the first major action of the Austro-Prussian War on June 27, 1866.

Na prední strane jména padlých pruských dustojníku a pocty padlých poddustoj. od peš. pluku c. 52 a dragounského pluku c. 8. Nalezneme zde i jméno rak. setníka od 9. peš. pluku Zieglera.
