I recovered this cadastral survey cap from 1958 in good condition. It is located on Dead Indian Memorial Rd that is a short distance east of Big Elk Rd (Hwy 37) if you're heading east. From the stamping on the cap face, this section corner marks the point defining Sections 5, 4, 9 and 8 in Township 38 South, Range 4 East. The cap has no designation stamping but has the year '1958' stamped on its face. The area around the cap is clearly marked with bearing trees, with two trees spraypainted with a red horizontal stripes, about 10 feet away from the cap. There is also a metal witness post standing near the cap. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this cap.
