In Tarrytown, at the last exit before crossing the Tappan Zee Bridge, is the Eldorado West Diner.

The diner is located on Broadway/U.S. Route 9, just south of the bridge over the road supporting I-87. There is an exit from I-87 to this road.

The restaurant is a modern design, with bright yellow, red and blue colors incorporated into it. Inside is brightly, but conservatively decorated with pink columns

The menu has a lot to choose from. I actually tried a special - trout. This was a bit of a risk, but the trout turned out to be perfectly cooked, with the suggestion that maybe it could have had some spice added. Others who ordered had a range of experiences - none terrible; some good.

The Eldorado (West) is one of four restaurants in the New York City metropolitan area. Two of the others are within miles of this one and the fourth is in Stamford, CT.
