"Quinta da Memória, also known as "Casa do Arcebispo" (Archbishop's House) is one of the architectural monuments which stand as an example of the current status and guidelines towards patrimony regeneration/rehabilitation connected to priding quality of life to its inhabitants for the municipality of Odivelas.
This farm, whose historical references allow us to travel to the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, is intimately linked to one man, D. Rodrigo de Moura Teles, notable figure of the Catholic Church in this period who played several role positions, like being a member of the State Council of Kings D. Pedro II and D. João V, as Archbishop of Braga. His identity has a strong presence on this recently renewed building, starting by the coat of arms that tops the main entrance, either by traces of the seventeenth century architecture that still prevails on Quinta da Memória", nowadays the City Hall.
