This windmill is a pleasant reminder that Argyle is still a rural community, despite efforts to bring The Big City to the area, while many moved here to escape all that hustle and bustle. Most will drive down busy FM 407 on a regular basis, maybe paying their bill here in the drop box once a month, and never really notice the windmill. It is simply ornamental, just spinning away when the winds pick up.
There are no fees to visit, but the windmill is behind a fence, sharing space with the water tanks here.
