Missoula's downtown now has a plethora of utility boxes wearing very artistic coats, each as different and as distinctive as the next.

This box is a photo collage of biking. Not just biking around the park, to work, or down to the grog shop for some suds. This is about travel by bike, and long distance travel at that. The collage contains photos of bikers who've passed through Missoula on their epic journeys across the country. In 1982 Greg Siple began recording the stories of bikers from all over the world who have passed through Missoula. He has posted an online Gallery of these intrepid travelers. A small sample of them are to be found on this utility box.
