The major battle of the Austro-Prussian war - Battle of Königgrätz (visit link) - was preceded by several other military clashes and minor skirmishes and battles. These skirmishes had their own victims and these victims have own a monuments.

The monuments outside the central battlefield (i.e. those that are not here (visit link) have their own number series.

This is the memorial of the victim of Battle of Königinhof [CZ: Dvur Králové]. It was a minor engagement in the Königgratz/Sadowa campaign of the Austro-Prussian War in Bohemia on June 29, 1866.

Pomnícek byl odhalen a vysvecen v ríjnu 1997. Je kamenný se vsazenou bílou nápisovou deskou. Tento voják byl pri pracích na mostovce Doleního mostu težce zranen a po transportu do týlu zemrel. Sloužil v Gardovém pionýrském pruském praporu ve 4. setnine. Od pomníku se nám naskytne pohled na nekdejší bojište z 29.6.1866. Na svahu pod silnicí se rozvinovaly pruské jednotky, na protejším kopci stály rakouské jednotky.
