DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1958 IN HEREFORD. AT HEREFORD, ABOUT 0.15 MILE NORTH ALONG SAMPSON AVENUE FROM THE PANHANDLE AND SANTA FE RAILWAY STATION, AT THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE, SET VERTICALLY IN THE SOUTH FACE OF THE EAST SIDE OF THE SOUTH ENTRANCE TO THE BASEMENT, 4 1/2 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER OF THE BASEMENT DOOR, AND ABOUT 4 FEET ABOVE THE SIDEWALK. NOTE-- 1911 WAS STAMPED ON THE MARK BY THIS PARTY.
