This particular barn was in a poor state of repair when it was disassembled and brought to the old John Blue Farm on West Blvd Ext in Laurinburg, NC. The farm has since become a museum of sorts for old farm machinery and buildings to preserve them for future generations to learn about their heritage. It was removed piece by piece from a farm in Robeson County. The McQueen S Westbury family donated the early 1900's tobacco barn. On the right side as one faces the barn is a plaque with a picture and information about the barn. As it stands now, all one needs to do is harvest the tobacco, hang it in the barn, cure it with smoke from the oast on either side and then take it to market.
Construction: Wood
