Not to be outdone by the competition, the First Security Bank on Main Street, the Valley Bank of Thompson Falls also has a time temperature sign, but not quite as fancy as the other.

Valley Bank and attendant sign are on a side street off Main Street, so don't see quite as much traffic as does the other time=temp sign in town. More specifically, the sign is on the east side of South Gallatin Street, by the alley a half block south of Main Street. It shows time and temp, but no scrolling community events information.
"Valley Bank of Thompson Falls was acquired in August of 2000. Since then Valley Bank of Thompson Falls has been building relationships within the community and bringing our spirit of superior customer service to the area.
Thompson Falls, located in the heart of Sanders County, is the home of one of the eight Valley Bank Branches. We have been serving the 1400 (est.) residents of Thompson Falls and surrounding towns since August of 2000 and plan to do so for many years to come.
This small lumber town is named after David Thompson, the fur trader who in 1811, held the first known Christmas ceremonial to be observed in the state of Montana. The community continues to celebrate this tradition with their annual Christmas Parade. The summer brings exceptional recreation activities and the annual Heritage Days Celebration. The best-kept secret in the Northwest, Thompson Falls is the home of western hospitality and spectacular views."
