This church was built in 1896 for the St. Augustine`s Roman Catholic parish. The parish was predominately German immigrants and the church was designed in Gothic Revival style replicating medieval German church forms. The church served the St. Augustine`s Roman Catholic parish until 1982 when the parish was dissolved and the building was sold the Christ Baptist Church. The Christ Baptist Church evolved into the Last Awaking Ministries Church.
