The Siris webpage for this sculpture (link below) does not have an official description, but just two black & white photographs. The sculpture consists of two sections of black-painted steel I-beams welded to form right angles. The two angle pieces are mounted into the ground with a slight offset and arranged to create the outline of a rectangle at a 30-degree tilt, but not joined at the top. The sculpture's black finish does show signs of wear from the outdoor exposure, but is adequate for the moment.

The artist, Glenn Garrison, appears to have been a student at Seaton Hill College, who continues his craft in Lake Gaston, NC. (visit link)

For "Medium", the listing says "Base: rocks with wood". The piece was mounted directly into the ground, thus wood mulch is now used to control weed growth at its base.
