Three years after her "Pipe Theme in Red/Oranges I" (Waymark WMM1P8) on display near the college entrance, Josefa Filkosky, Professor of Art at Seaton Hill College from 1955 until 1999, continued to be enthralled with brightly painted pipe.
"Continuous Form in Red" is constructed of red-painted 12" diameter steel pipe welded to form two interconnecting squarish ovals raised on a single post. With the red double "O"-looking shapes, the piece would be well suited to a campus in say, Ohio.
A small plaque in front of the sculpture reads:
