Constructed between 1834 and 1836, as part of the Chenango Canal. This site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. There is an informational plaque at the location. Road is open though not maintained during the winter.

The site was constructed between 1834 and 1836; it was in use from 1837 to 1878 when the Chenango Canal closed operations. This site includes the guard lock and dam the canal prism and adjacent tow path at Lock 107. Chenango Valley State Park has placed an informational plaque which gives some history of the site as well as a description of lock operation.
