No official description provided, just two black & white photographs to identify the piece - located at the top of the hill when approaching the campus by the main entrance.

A roughly 20'x12'x1" sheet of untreated iron plate which has been slit in the middle about eight feet up from bottom. These two halves are then bent curved to create two "feet" which support the piece upright. One side of the vertical plate has a curved section removed.

This piece could have been made from a scrap piece of iron sheet first used to cut out a section for a prior project. It is unprotected, resting on a best of crushed rock near a parking area.

Further research notes that this sculpture look very similar to "Sonata" by the same artist, which is located at Duquesne University in Pittsburg (IAS PA000248).

More about the artist herself can be learned at (visit link)

DIFFERENCES NOTED BETWEEN THE INVENTORY LISTING AND YOUR OBSERVATIONS AND RESEARCH:
Very little information provided in listing - the two photographs for verification. Good news is that thick steel plate will take a long time to rust away.
