In Esslingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg eexists a small Zoo called 'Nymphaea'. It can be found at the 'Nymphaea Straße' on an island inside the Neckar River.
They offer only 'small' animals like turtles, birds, pigs, rabbits or deers. The biggest animals are ponys and donkeys.
They have also a aquarium with fishes.
The zoo is managed by a club. All employes are working as volunteers!
The club has been founded in 1901 and the zoo has been opened in 1931.
It's a small but marvellous zoo.
