A Christmas display in a Monte Sereno Cul de Sac caused a riff between neighbors. Years ago Alan Alerts spent thousands to deck out their home with lights, causing thousands to flock to see the Christmas display. The traffic jam on the street caused problems, and because of a neighbor, alaw was passed limiting displays. To show their displeasure, they erected a large inflatable Grinch in front of their house.
