Wiard Park is an older park and has gone through a number of transformations over the years. The park demolished the wading pool that entertained many kids for decades and is replacing it with a spray park (splashpad) instead. The park has hosted many family reunions, birthday parties and community organization picnics, since they host a nice pavilion, gazebo and numerous picnic tables. There were two tennis courts but one has fallen to neglect, the other one is barely usable. There is a nice playground for kids and a volleyball pit and basketball court.
