This little Fairbanks Morse stationary is a ZC-208: Model Z, Style C, displacement 208 (CI). It produces 12 horsepower and operates between 325 and 650 RPM. Can't say when this one was put together.
Fairbanks-Morse Company was founded in the late 1880s with headquarters in Chicago, producing many kinds and types of engines. The "Z" was introduced in 1916 and went through a plethora of changes before its discontinuation in 1944.
For the gearheads the museum itself is well worth seeing, with a multitude of vehicles, farm machinery, gas pumps, a couple of cannons, a helicopter and just a huge array of stuff. The museum is the result of one man's having been a packrat for something like 50 years.
