The date stone on the wall indicates that the building was erected as a Primitive Methodist Church and had a Sunday school on site.

Their website tell us that their Ministers are Revd. Graeme Dutton & Revd. Lyn Gregg and that "New Hey Road is very much part of the local community and is used as a contact centre for the community police officers and is a venue for community and council-related meetings. The Circuit Office is open Tuesday to Thursday mornings."
