A Calvary Cross Memorial in St.Mary the Virgin's the church yard bears the names of the fallen from both World Wars.

This memorial takes the form of a Hooded Calvary Cross, one with a statue of Christ Crucified with an open gable above, also bearing the inscription 'INRI'. The shaft of the cross is octagonal and sits on an octagonal block with chamfered top bearing the WWII names, a square block with the WWI names, then a large block with top and bottom coving bearing the WWI dedication. The shaft and top block exhibit 'broaches', more associated with church spires than crosses.
The dedication reads:-
+ TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF
THOSE WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY
IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918
