Greengrass has a lot of problems. A number of sheep have been killed on the moor and Blaketon is convinced Greengrasses Lurcher, Alfred, is to blame. Alfred is to be put down, but Rowan manages to prove Alfred’s innocence. The Inland Revenue have also got their claws into Greengrass.
Meanwhile, Kate Rowan has started in Dr Radcliffe’s practice in Whitby. However, the receptionist is out to marginalise Kate.
