To Find the St. Ignatius Old Catholic Cemetery: From Hwy. 93 turn west on Mission Drive continue 400 meters then south on Taelman Road to cemetery, 200 meter. You will see what looks like a vacant field, this is the cemetery.

St. Ignatius Old Catholic Cemetery is located in Lake County. At one time it was used by the local Catholic community. It was abandoned long ago, as only two visible gravesites remain.
There is one headstone inscribed:
J.B. Ethier
Born in Sorel (Québec) Canada
Feb. 12, 1832
Died June 7, 1895
The other gravesite has three very old metal posts indicating it location. The rest of the cemetery looks like an open field. No information is available as to how many interments there actually were. The surrounding area is residential; however the one block square area where the cemetery is located is being preserved. Just from this size of this area there could be hundreds of interments, long ago vanished from sight.
