This Public Land Survey Mark is at the corner of Wenzel Street and Hazelridge Road just south of Birds Hill, Manitoba.

The disk is 20 metres southwest of the intersection of the streets in the bush and just southwest of a utility pole.
Disks are normally positioned so that they are readable when facing north at the disk and therefore S 33 would be NW of the disk and S 28 would be NE.
But in this case, the disk has been rotated 90° and Section 33 is NE; Section 28 is SE. River Lot 102 is west of the disk.In the 1800's, the first survey divided the land into river lots along the Red River. These river lots were long narrow lots similar to those in Quebec. Each lot had 660 feet of river frontage and typically extended back from the river to a road called the “Two Mile Road.” This mark is 2.75 miles from the Red River. (
